The Silva deal looks doomed. The Slimani one in the balance. No sign of a defender.

Silva deal is strange with his father saying the presidents statement is a lie but then there have been a few Sporting fans posting on FT.
From what they say we have no chance with Silva and the owner would let him sit on the bench for the rest of his contract rather that sell him for less than what they value him or his buy out clause (rumoured 40 million though unsure if that is £s or Euros).
Slimani deal is supposedly on for £30 million.
This is just summarising what was on FT from some Sporting fans.
