We play Everton on the 9th so surely the first leg will have to be 12th??

I managed to find the date for the away leg before it was announced elsewhere and got cheap flights to Seville as a result :D

All flights seem expensive to Madrid though, when I had a quick look.

It's the school holiday period so that's probably the beef anywhere. On the plus side if I can get a ticket I can actually make the home tie.

Doesn't help that it's so close to Easter, but yes seem to be expensive
 
Barcelona flights are more like £60-70 but long and expensive train from there!

Anywhere other than that or direct is just silly money.
 
Are there 500 tickets reserved for us with a paltry silver membership in the Champions League too?

Heathrow flights are about £250 return (when I looked a few mins ago). You're right though, by the time you add on the train fare, you won't be saving any money doing it that way anyway.
 
Gutted, I can't justify this after Bruges, Porto and Seville, not at these prices.

18 hour drive - wonder if the company fuel card works in Europe.....

I'm in the exact same boat as you. I've done the previous four but can't bring myself to do this. If the away leg was the second leg then it may have been a different story.
