What an interesting match this is going to be.

We still need points to secure our League status but we have possibly the biggest game in our history just 3 days later.

So who are we going to play? I'd rather we didn't go in for half measures. It didn't work against Everton and I can't see it working against a weaker but still dangerous Palace.

Do we play Huth or do we play whoever our CB partnership for Tuesday will be so that they can at least have match time together or will that tire Benny?

For me it's full steam ahead:

Kasper

Simpson
Benny
Huth
Fuchs

Albrighton
Amartey
Ndidi
Gray

Vardy
Slimani

If Craig wants to rest people I say rest the lot and play:

Zieler

Simpson (or an academy/reserve RB)
Benny
Amartey
Chilwell

Kapustka
Mendy
King
Gray

Musa
Slimani

Kasper
Was, Benny, Amartey, Chilwell
King,
Kaputska, Musa
Gray
Slimani, Ulloa

A diamond in midfield.

No half measures this time, for me. We should full on reserves. I don't care if the tea lady plays up front.
Yes. Imagine, a couple of months ago we looked like we were certain to go down. Now we can afford to play our reserves. Time to take advantage of that.

I'm worried that we are underestimating our run-in. Palace are either the easiest or second easiest fixture we have left. If we do an Everton here and lose we could find ourselves dropping down to 14th or 15th again. If we then go and beat Atletico we've got 2 away fixtures at the Arse and West Brom which are possibly 0 points - though one would hope 6. That'll put us back in the relegation battle. We'll obviously be concentrating on our Semi final match up with Real yet we have Watford, Man City and Spurs which on the face of it could yield just 3 points with only the final match of the season to play.

We need to secure 3 points against a Palace team below us but playing well and I'm not sure anyone is thinking that way.

They've won five of their last six games.

I know. as have we. And they're below us in the league unlike all our other opponents between now and the final game of the season.

Arsenal, Brom, Man city away and Spurs at home are all more difficult asks. only Watford at home may be easier and then we hopefully will have the first leg of the CL SF to distract us.

We need to be aware that our run-in has no gimmes and take Palace seriously.

I would say the home games against Bournemouth and Watford should be easier than Palace away. Maybe the game at West Brom too.
So Palace isn't one of the two easiest games we have to play. Maybe the third easiest, assuming they play like relegation candidates, not like they've been playing recently.

So maybe it's 1 of the three easiest instead of 1 of the 2 easiest. I'll let you have that as it's clearly a big difference. If we are looking at the last 6 games as form for them then you must be doing the same for us. If you're looking at the season for them then do the same for us. Either way they should be 1 of the 2 or 3 easiest games of the season.

Only one game counts and it's not this shitter

It doesn't matter what our current form is, if you're looking at the relative difficulty of the teams we're playing.

But if we base it entirely on current form, Palace would be the second most difficult game we have left this season, after Tottenham. But Palace is away, and Tottenham is at home. We know how much better our home for is than our away form. This is not going to be an easy game at all.

33 points to stay up? Don't be ridiculous. We need another two wins and a draw IMO.

Our team this weekend IMO:

Kasper

Amartey
Huth
Was
Chilwell

Gray
King
Drinkwater
Mahrez

Okazaki
Slimani
