No for attacking posters that have a different opinion to them.
 
Surprised we haven't rested a few more, but I have faith in the sports science guys to know what they're doing.
 
In the NBA players put far more effort into each game. They have sweat pouring off them from the effort. They play over 100 games in a season and they often play back to back nights 1000's of miles apart. Footballers should be able to play max effort for a game every 3 days.

Same for the amount of running and muscle use that tennis players put in during a grand slam fortnight.

I'm not sure what is more ridiculous here.

Hopefully we get a good result here and get through with no injuries though!
 
Wow. Expected more players to be rested than just Drinkwater really. Interesting. Also it's going to be interesting to see how Ulloa gets on.

I've not seen anyone doing that...

...other than you of course.

Now to the game. We need to press high from the start to nullify their pace on the break but that may be an issue with Ulloa up top. I think King will try to get forward more leaving Ndidi to sweep up in the centre. It will be interesting to see how King does. I'm not his biggest fan but I don't see how he can be less effective than DD at the moment; now there are some words I definitely may eat later!

Now this, I am with you on to a degree. It depends what type of player they are and what stage of their career they are at though. We have a multitude of ages and playing styles some of which are able to perform time and time again with shorter recovery periods, others that are better having rested.

I wanted more players rested simply because of fear of injury against a very physical team scrapping for their lives rather than for fear that they will burn out.

Their regular season is 82 games long and, if you were a fan of the NBA, you'd know that one of the big issues at the minute is teams resting players, so that they save their legs for the playoffs.

NBA games are also half the length of a football match. FIF's comparison seems like a non-starter
