All drawing to a close isn't it? The fairytale ends tonight. Rest of the season will be a damp squib really. Then we hand over the PL trophy & the curtain comes down. Have to admit to being a little tearful. No European football next year. Who knows if it'll ever be back? Even if it is it can't ever be the same.

All in all...I'm grateful to have lived through it all. Something beyond my wildest expectations. Nothing is ever going to be quite the same now. Always thought winning the FA Cup was the best we could hope for. Now it probably is again.

Great second half. they gave it their all but in the end we didn't have the class to go with the effort.

We should be proud of them tonight.

We gave it our best shot - we leave as the best English team in the CL this year. Any whinging ( from pundits and others about us not being worthy or out classed or that we would be humilated proved to be totally unfounded - Well done boys ,you done good.

What an effort that second half!

Certainly did us proud and could have easily been different had one of the blocked efforts gone in.

Not many other teams will be able to say they have never lost a home game in the European Cup!

We really shit them up for a spell in that 2nd half. Beautiful to watch. If we can keep that spirit alive then the future is bright.

Went out with a bang, not a whimper. Couldn't be more proud. Bollocks to all those who worried we'd be an embarrassment to the PL in Europe. We'll done you boys.

It's all been said above. So proud of them for that performance and drawing against one of the best club teams in the world.

Listened to Dave Henson before the match and this seems very apt now

"Whatever happens to this fearless side

This. Who'd have thought after the first leg that we'd be raining attacks on them in that 20 minute spell after half time. Brilliant effort from my team.

Imensely proud. I feel quite confident in saying that is the toughest match athletico have played in the champions league this season, they barely got out of their own half in the second half.

I hope the players don't get too downhearted, that was a great effort, and the future is bright.

Kinda feels like a break up with a girl you knew was too good for you.

So proud of everyone associated with Leicester City. Now let's end the league season on a high. We have some very good players. We have very good owners. And we have a manager who has proved over the two games against Athletico that he has a lot more to him than just motivation. The future for our club is bright!
