The Stone Roses self-titled debut.

I heard this cracking Arcade Fire song I forgot the name but refers children and goes on between 6-9 minutes.

It's a very good album, the song in question maybe 'Tunnels'.

He has still never quite got over the demise of the London Boys - plays their album on loop, so he does.

He does still go to see a few 'London Boys' occassionally though, mostly in the Kings Cross area.....

The only track on their current album that lasts over 6 minutes is In The Backseat, but it doesn't refer to children. Best track on the album in my opinion, is Rebellion (lies), which talks about sons and daughters, maybe that's the one you heard

The Fairbrass brothers were legendary....

This mornings jukebox will consist of a mixture from:

Sigur Rós - Taak
Yo La Tengo - Summer Sun
Van Morrison - Moondance
Motown Remixed - Various
Wilco - Summerteeth
Sugar - File Under Easy Listening

Arcade Fire are fecking awesome! "Neighborhood - Tunnels" mentions naming children could be that one, lasts about 4-5mins I think. First song on their album "Funeral". If you like that then I recommend their self titled EP as well some cracking songs on that.

I've been going through my CD collection listening to albums I've not heard for ages. Its been emotional.

I'm listening to British Sea Power at the moment, but recently its been a lot of Stevie Wonder (Songs In the Key of Life, Innervisions, Talking Book & Songbook), Marvin Gaye (Whats Going On? & Here, My Dear), Futureheads, Tom McRae and a load of funk/soul albums, compliations mostly.
