My Swansea supporting friend said as follows:
"...he won't score more than 4 a season because his finishing has always been woeful but he works hard and creates chances. I would be a little sad if he went as I've always liked him, been a good servant for the club"
Speculative I know but we appear to have got our business done a lot quicker this summer than last which is pretty impressive considering a managerial change. Jon Rudkin appears to be doing a better job than Terry Robinson.
Not a prediction but a nice read in any event

I thought it had the touch of Nigel Pearson about it. He certainly has said on record a few times how much he enjoyed playing for NP, not surprising he has a similar outlook on the game.
No doubting CR tactical acumen but for me you can't judge that until we go a goal behind and how he reacts to that.
Also thank God Riyad signed that new deal or they would be all over him.
Impressive away performance, they were always going to come back second half but were held firm after an initial wobble following their goal. Let's not get too carried away just yet but things are looking positive for sure.
I don't understand why if you're not blindly optimistic you're being overly negative. I think he will no doubt be an improvement on what we have but he clearly isn't the same player he was 2-3 years ago or he would never be coming here.
Vardy is clearly pissed off at the bloke and using the term in a negative manner. So he clearly said it to be derogatory and arguably to insult the individual.
One of my favourite players of the Pearson era. Has scored some big goals (Burnley away, Leeds Away in the promotion season) and some great ones too (that chip against Forest, Liverpool last season). I will be sad to see him go, but I can't see him getting a chance here this season as it stands
Strange choice for me. Yes it's champions league football but it's not a team with a realistic chance of doing anything in it and he has been there done that. Also I'm sure he could have earned more in the MLS.
Plus, the Greek economy is hardly the most reliable....
Not that I'm bitter. Least...
My whole point is the name a worse player than Konchesky to make more appearances. Surely the number of appearances he has made is quite important to that question...
