Look at the difference between the full backs: Schlupp full of confidence, beating his man. De Laet wants to be nowhere near the ball. I would say I expect Benalouane to start next match but the jury is still out on him...

Poor performance in the first half. Better for the last 30 mins.

De Laet was awful.
Benalouane gives away a lot of cheap free-kicks, based on today and Bury. Not sure he's an improvement.

Down to third after Palace won.

Poor performance until the last 15.

In the end we could have won it. Can't believe he didn't give the second penalty shout and thought the ref was very very poor today.

That should see the end of De Laet and hopefully we can find a way to get Schlupp more involved. He was superb.

If you aren't going to use Ulloa in a game like that you might as well sell him. Was screaming out for him today.

Must admit was disappointed with Ranieri today.

Draw away from home, still unbeaten....can't complain, personally...

We need a new right back...

As for the match. Vardy gets Ranieri out of jail after he drops a right clanger. Got to be happy with a point after that. Some players were poor throughout - De Laet, Drinkwater, King.

A few players had a good game - Schlupp, Morgan, Vardy for what little we got to see of him.

I like how Kante covers a lot of ground but he looked shaky with the ball first half. Much better second.

Dodoo failed to make an impact but shouldn't judge too harshly I guess.

Vardy is the only player in our team who can do that and that is absolutely invaluable. Saved us a point today.

Those are my thoughts. Goodnight.

I thought King played pretty well.

Took a while to get going but eventually got there after changing the silly starting lineup.

Ref bottled the second pen for Vardy at the end though.

Bizarre change of a winning line-up for a system that totally failed us in the first half. Without their injuries I can't help but feel they might have clawed more from the game - and on that point I found the singing of "Leicester reject" at Maxi absolutely woeful.

But we leave with a point from an away fixture where the opposition are going to cause problems for many sides this season, so upwards and onwards. And both Derby and Forest lost \o/

Crikey. We're unbeaten, averaging two points a game and just got a hard fought point away from home to a dangerous side. And yet most I'm reading in the match thread is negativity about our players and manager?

We weren't good first half but we are in the Premier League folks and some opposition teams are going to cause us problems. I don't care who you are, sometimes you don't play at your best (Chelsea or Liverpool today anyone??). When this happens, the thing to do is hang in there and get something. We did that well today all things considered. I've have taken that result before the game.

Ranieri spent the interviews before today's game saying he was expecting a tough game against a team he had a lot of respect for. Shame we can't all recognise this.

So far we've played teams who play to our strengths. For what I've seen, ACDCBournemouth try and play like we do, we could battle to out score them or we could try something different to see out a game and get a point. I can understand the change, performance I can't comment on as I've been watching some proper football.

Stupid selection and tactics from the off, and a complete failure to put things right

We are lucky that a couple of the players are of such a quality that we were able to salvage a completely undeserved point.

Shite

I'm just frustrated that he changed a settled and winning line up... glad of a point though.

A fair point well made...though you must admit the 5 man midfield was a failed experiment in the first half.

I only got to listen to poor radio commentary but, it sounds like we got away with it today: that's a pretty good habit, to get something when not at our best. More fancied teams than City will come away from Bournemouth with no points... I'll take that.

On the plus side I thought Kante looked good and a much more aggressive player than King or Drinkwater.
