I know Rooney missed a sitter but it is Gerard who deserves much more criticism for the last two games. But I doubt he will get it and it will be Henderson who is dropped before him.

I heard some twat journalist on the radio saying the Italian and Uruguayan defences would be scared to see Sterling on the teamsheet - I don't think they were.

The defence is not good enough but neither is only scoring 2 goals in 2 games. That's less than Australia and they are the lowest ranked team in the tournament.
