if you call one hit over 3+ seasons sure, he has had more than one good season with us.

It's true. He alternates good and bad. Maybe he can be the player of the year in 2018 - but will that be in the prem or the championship?

I once had a flatmate that was ditched by her boyfriend. She listened to Lionel Ritchie and blubbed all night long. And that ain't just a bad pun. I was no fan of Ritchie before that but after you've heard the same frekkin' album for the upteenth time, you start to have vandalous thoughts.

So it's Lionel Ritchie who's a one hit wonder ?

What about Dancing on the Ceiling and All Night Long, FFS ?

Actually at a holiday camp I went to one of the questions to the pop quiz "who recorded Easy", my answer of Commodores was marked wrong.
The adjudicator said the answer was Lionel Richie. I argued and she told me "well that's what it says here" pointing to her piece of paper.
When 2 questions later she said the answer to the question who recorded "Baby Love" was Diana Ross my argument it was The Supremes or at a pinch Diana Ross and the Supremes fell on death ears, I decided to give up and walked out!

Mmm. Holiday camp pop quiz - I wouldn't be expecting serious levels of fact-checking. Best to just neck as much lager as possible and then fight the winner.
