Questions for the Foxes Trust

If organisations like the FT want to lobby the club on fringe issues like the availability of discounts at the club shop then fair enough. Personally, I think market forces would sort out these issues anyway, but it does no real harm.

My problem arises when they pretend that they have any role in football/ management issues. They have a derisory number of members, have put their collective foots iin it when they have tried to dabble in these matters before and of course have had to sell their small stake holding in the club to the owner as part of his takeover arrangements.

:icon_roll Or better still, Biff, tell us what you have done - other than moan about the people who are actually doing something.

:)
While you're at it - why not tell us what you have done instead of just moaning about people moaning about other people who are actually not doing anything?:102:

The last time I checked I'm pretty sure BB wasn't claiming to be an organisation representing supporters/members depending on the issue and taking credit for things not entirely down to him. Plus, I bet if you asked him how many people live in his house he'd come back with a figure pretty promptly.

Indulging in attacks at individuals trying to get answers to basic questions from the Trust in a thread called "Questions for the Foxes Trust" set up by the Trust seems without point. If you wish to defend them then why not list out the reasons why they should be supported citing examples? I for one would be delighted to see them. On the other hand, if you tire of reading people attacking them put the thread or the individuals on ignore.

:)

The name is Biffa Bacon, not Biff, please don't malign Biff. I don't make any statements claiming to have done anything to help out city and I don't intend to, I have asked the trust on occasion to explain what it is, does and how it plans to do this, which it refuses to answer. There are other people out there doing stuff to help the club who feel no need to come on here telling us how much they've done to help us (generally over egging it) and don't crow about how much influence they believe they have.

If you have any concrete details of things the trust has actually achieved or even their numbers please post them.

How many members have you had and how many have you currently got?

I wrote to the club demanding that they not raise the cost of season tickets and they didn't.

Go me!

Yes I do. The club lied to me. I don't like being lied to.

Do you think it's OK for the club to lie to us all the time?
You do not intend buying a season ticket - the price of the season ticket is immaterial to you - you do not have a gripe.

Find something else to get upset about like the weather, the length of girls skirts or the rampant levels of racism on Talkingballs. Stop being a nagger.:018:

So, having not answered my question and I notice the question has been re-asked which makes it at least three times now it has been asked can you now tell me how many members you currently have please?

Knowledge is power:038:

Why no answer:102:

I suspect that membership numbers are withering away as we speak, and will continue to do so as subbie renewal dates come and pass

It's probably now too embarrassing to provide a response

Question for the Foxes Trust
If I was to say your membership as of Aug '06 numbered 879, and of Aug '07 was 592.

Would I be close?

thanks

Those would be exactly correct, as they were published in our annual accounts which you must have read or a member has passed the information on.

The significant fall between the 2 figues directly related to the change to single ownership of the club.

The next set of figures will again be published in our annual accounts & we don't intend to provide any updates between each report.

All we will say is that any guesses in recent months we have seen on message boards have all underestimated current members figures

Our annual accounts are published at our AGM in February each year, hence will be the next update

My guess is that the Trust will have a membership of something less than 3% of City average attendances for this season and circa 1.5% of the City fan base.

To be fair, it wouldn't surprise me if this was still a larger proportion than other 'supporters groups', but it is still illustrative that all these groups make unjustified claims for representing fans' views.
