Ranieri out

It's not that they aren't playing for Ranieri. It's that they aren't playing. At all. They all peaked last season at the same time & it was a perfect storm. The mistake has been to fail to strengthen against the decline. Recruitment has been a ****ing shambles. Totally the opposite of what it's been for the past 5 years.

I don't see a solution but Ranieri has as much of a chance of finding one as anybody & more than anyone who might replace him. The list of candidates if he were to go would make you want to hurt yourself I guarantee it.
Ranieri will have to start looking for a solution before he's likely to find one.

In all seriousness, anyone know what Ranieri's record is when it starts to go tits up at a club? Does he have a record which includes turning declining fortunes around?

I genuinely don't know.

The owners will never sack Ranieri. He would only leave by mutual consent of his own initiation.

If this happened, the obvious choice out there at the moment would be Roberto Mancini. Fits the bill perfectly for where we are and what the owners want.

But, as I say, could only happen if Ranieri himself thought better off out of it and opted out.

CR isn't leaving while we are still in the CL.

The difficulty is in where to look. Not one single player at the club is in any kind of form.

Well, maybe Slimani but that's about it.

Thing is it doesn't really tend to go tits up for him. He took Atletico down but they were financially ****ed anyway; Leeds-esque. He did poorly at Inter but everybody does poorly at Inter. And he wasn't with Greece long enough. There hasn't been a precipitous collapse anywhere, I don't think. His career record is really quite excellent. Not quite elite, but not a million miles off.

I think he's going to go at the end of this season regardless to be honest. I also think we'll finish in the bottom three.

Difficult to imagine a more threatening situation for the club. Swansea look feeble too but I doubt if we are better than anyone but them. I'm afraid that none of the summer signings looks good business - some worse than others. The longer standing back up players look way off the mark and unmotivated. The 'star' players are counting their money and playing football doesn't seem to be a priority. I've seen Leicester sides before that seemed to be out of their depth. This looks to be like one of those. I fear that they are going to waste yet more money in January.

Lets hope for a miracle and some points on Saturday. Don't know what to think about Ranieri. He looks a forlorn figure.

Ranieri has to be given time. I think he knows the scale of the problem, it's for him to respond. Personally, I think he is the man for the job. That said, there has to be some improvement seen in the next few weeks so the clock is ticking.

Mancini will be safely installed by New Years Day

Can't believe what an absolute nosedive we've taken since last season's end! Nobody expected us to be challenging the top 4 again, but this? I honestly think we'd struggle in the Championship if we continue on this downward momentum.

Enough is enough.

After today's loss against Burnely, I'm sure that he's not going to turn it around.

I'm starting to think if the last success was mainly down to others (Walsh & NP) rather than Ranieri himself.

Oh **** off over to Foxesshite.

It's all on the owners, if we can stomach relegation financially then they are fine to decide to stick with Ranieri. If we really need to make the best possible effort to stay in this league, he's gotta be replaced before it's too late. I don't know who is available that could do a better job, I'd hope for Mancini, but let's face it - it doesn't get much worse than losing and being shit all the time.

There is a thread for this already isn't there. Is it necessary to have a new one every time we don't win?
