This is going to be very very embarrassing isn't it?

But will it?

Sevilla's last three results:

Sevilla 0-0 Villarreal
Las Palmas 0-1 Sevilla
Sevilla 2-0 Eibar

Defensively tight, but not exactly banging the goals in.

I don't think it'll be the 4-0 or 5-0 that the doom mongers are expecting.

Fly out first thing tomorrow, looking forward to seeing how we match up with one of the best teams in Spain.

Watching my team in the last 16 of the champions league, still living the dream

I don't think it'll be the 4-0 or 5-0 that the doom mongers are expecting.

There's a difference between 'expect' and' fear'. With our current form, I think one is justified in fearing a tonking. We're hardly water tight and have little to offer upfront.

Of course, come the day, things can happen. Who'd have expected PSG to stuff Barca 4 nothing?

If we pick the academy kids and all conspire to refuse to acknowledge the game, no match threads, no viewing, and those travelling just have a nice couple of days away missing out the stadium visit, maybe we can get away with pretending that this shameful nonsense never happened?

Don't think they are in the Champion's league squad.

Maybe this is the game that everything turns around for us...........................................but probably not.

I do expect to see Mahrez play a blinder though which could lead to us actually scoring.

Should've been here!

You're right we'll twat them

im normally optomistic but fearing the worse here thankfully Arsenal and Barca have already been hammerred, were only little Leicester. Maybe Sevilla will be over confident, maybe they dont know we play 442, i hope Benny is selected, Wague too if fit, id also find a starting place for Armartey and Slimani, im fearing the worse but if by some kind of miracle we put in a shift and decent performance it would lift morale for all the club. im hoping for a 0-2 defeat but expecting 5/6 As a fan im embarrassed by my clubs recent performances, the players should e feeling a lot worse but they dont seem to be

Kasper

Amartey Benny Huth Chilwell

Mendy NDidi

Mahrez King Gray

Vardy
if Slimani was fit I would have him start instead of Vardy and Albrighton in place of King with mahrez central

Southampton were on a similar run before we turned up too.

1-1 draw at worse.

I'm fairly equanimous about the prospect of relegation (which would be the 9th on my watch), it's this forum's whining and ludicrous sense of entitlement that's really getting me down.

First competitive European match in Spain for twenty years, and it's not Athletico - if the Lawman could pop one in against Madrid all those years ago, Seville shouldn't be a problem, and it's a lovely city too. Looking forward to it.

That's a good word. I had to look it up but I do like it.

I don't read any entitlement on this forum tbh. Not saying there isn't any there, just that I haven't read that in to any posts. I do read disappointment though, and I understand that. I think there's a very understandable context to the disappointment too, one that doesn't include last season's unbelievable ride either. That is simply that we're under performing. I don't think many here expected us to repeat last season, nor even finish top 10 (personally, I had us pegged in the lower half) but what is disappointing is simply that we're not even matching even those modest ambitions. We rarely look like a team that can win.

I'm looking forward to the Seville match (though admittedly with some trepidation). I really hope those that go enjoy the heady heights of European football, I'm envious in truth. I'd love to go just to experience it.

If the barstewards hadn't jumped on his leg, it could have been a whole different

Be very interesting to see the team selected for this one. Will speak volumes for me about Ranieri's position. If its the 2015/16 title winners show he's on his way imminently.

He'll have an eye on Liverpool methinks so I don't think we ought read much into the selection. What will be interesting, IMO at least, is how whoever is selected plays, what shape we take, how we play as a team and praps most interesting of all, any tactical changes.

I think this is one of those games were those on the bench could say as much about our approach as those on the field.
