Sunday Bloody Sunday'. What a great song. It really encapsulates the frustration of a Sunday, doesn't it? You wake up in the morning, you've got to read all the Sunday papers, the kids are running round, you've got to mow the lawn, wash the car, and you think "Sunday, bloody Sunday!".

O'Neill's.

Brilliant. :038:

Whilst an away win (or any win for that matter) would be most welcome . Would the perception be that they upped their game for the CL and would it actually confirm that they were not putting a shift in the PL ?

Not until Monday evening. Plenty of time for recovery.

I wasn't talking about recovery really. I think CR will be looking at performances/changes on Weds with some thoughts towards the Liverpool game.

I'm not sure he/we know what our best team is. Millwall raised more questions than it gave answers.

Depends on the style of play Seville use. Still we need to get something from the game first.

Any thing other than defeat by more than two goals I would regard as a good/brilliant result for us.
Even more so if we manage to score as well!

They are going to rip our heads off and take it in turns to shit down the holes

All while waving clap banners, with their shoes in the air, singing "Champions of England, you're having a laugh"

Homer's never been the same since he watched 2 Teams 1 Cup.

But we will be able to return with the chant of "Champions of England, you'll never say that."

We really should start singing "Champions of England, we're having a laugh" in Prem matches.

I already do

In my head

Finally a sensible post. The fans need to let the players know they've lost them.

Totally agree. We fans have allowed the players to get away with murder over recent months.

It is psychologically wrong to support players who know full well that they are playing well below expectations.

The last time I recall hearing sustained booing of the team and individuals was in the home game against Hull (0-0). However it affects individual players, a collective statement from the fans is long overdue. At least some of the players would react positively and that might be a spark.

After that Hull game or that away game at Barnsley which we lost 2-0, there was a reaction.

We're also complicit in allowing Ranieri to spout complete toss in every interview. Where is the challenge? Where is the pressure?

Time for a desperate line-up.

We're gonna need something like

Schmeichel

Simpson
Benalouane
Amartey
Morgan
Fuchs
Chilwell

Drinkwater
Gray
N'Didi
King
Mendy
Albrighton

Okazaki
Vardy
Worthington
Cottee
Slimani

I don't know how they would work together but I'd like to see it. I think we need it.

Most of the locals we've spoken to so far want us to win, mind you they all support Betis

Just arrived and found a cracking litlle square near the cathedral, with a few nice places to drink in. Sod going to O'Neills, this is lovely.
