Newcastle, in particular, seems unlikely.

I doubt they'll be sorted before we know our likelihood of getting promoted to be honest.

Agreed.

Especially for someone like Schmeichel. We can't afford to offer any package that would compare with a PL club (which we could do a few years ago), and therefore KS has nothing to lose from seeing out his contract. If we get promotion, we'll offer him a better package. If we stay in the Championship, we'll offer him the same package or he can get a better offer elsewhere.

Our hands are tied.

I, sadly, think that Kasper will go but have very little concern that any of the others will so, what's the betting that Nugent, Pearson and Morgan go by the end of January and Kasper signs a new ten year contract! :icon_bigg

Don't really need any extras as we are doing well as we are and have good cover in most areas.

Only place that could poss need an extra body is right side midfield as Knocky is the sort of player that sometimes it just doesn't work for but he's still one of the first names on the team sheet for me.

good shout Matt and i agree totally, as it appears we dont have a youth prospect ready in that postion and the loan window closed, im sure this requirement will be sorted in January, until then maybe RDL could operatethere in an emergency.
