Complete contrast of styles, IMO will be footballing suicide for both parties, if he joins can see Vardy becoming another Franny Jeffers.

I know people are hoping it won't happen but I don't know how anyone who has watched Vardy the past 3 years can say he only fits into one style.

He'd score hatfuls at Arsenal.

He's far better than Walcott and Walcott has always scored goals for them when he's actually been played as a striker.

I agree with this.
Also not convinved we could do anything to make him stay either.

I don't necessarily think it wouldn't work out. I just mean that Wenger spending £22m on a 29 year old Englishman wouldn't be the sort of thing he normally does.

I think Wenger is under more pressure now than ever before in his tenure.

I think he is a Wenger type signing. He does like pace in his sides and God knows Vardy has that is spades. I'd hate to see this happen, imagine him turning out for them against us next season?

Wenger is under huge pressure to sign a player who works hard, with passion and someone who is gritty and aggressive. This is why he's picked the very mascot of this type of player. Vardy would do well anywhere he went.

His agent is the one prodding and poking I think. His last, and only major transfer for a player of jamie's calibre would be now. At 29, Vards won't have another transfer as big as this one could be me thinks. £20m? Bargain even if they only get one season out of him.

I'd HATE for this to happen

If Vards goes, I reckon Kante and Mahrez will also.
Therefore, and I don't like how it works but that's the way it is: if it's money Vardy's after, give him what he wants. There are numerous very strong reasons for us to keep him, not only because we're a much better football team with him. It'd be a prestige signing for Arsenal and a devastating loss for us

This is what I'm thinking too.

I knew this team wouldn't stay together forever but I'd hoped we'd get at least one more season out of them.

Not that fussed about Vardy moving to a smaller club, he'd not get many games next season anyway as he'll be behind Messi and Suarez in the pecking order.

Stop bedwetting its shit
