Jeff,

I think the current season is due to end on 30/04/2008 ?? If so, is there any chance of extending it to mid May so I can do some books for relegation/promotion/champions etc :102:

It would seem very sensible to finish the season immediately after our last game and start a new one for the play-offs.

I don't think there's any need to extend the season past the end of April.
After the first few vbookie seasons we settled into a pattern of two month seasons, and I'd like to keep that consistency whenever possible. Or do people think moving to a one month season would be better?.

Since we started the two month seasons it's never been extended by more than a day, and that was only to give people the opportunity to vbet on Leicester matches when it wouldn't have been possible if we'd ended the season at the end of the month.

These are the vbookie seasons we've had so far:

End date / winner

15/5/06 SilverFox
11/7/06 Melton Fox
31/8/06 Lazzer
31/10/06 MUSSWELL_FOX
1/1/07 Lako42
28/2/07 Lako42
30/4/07 homer
30/6/07 Rhys
29/8/07 City Fan
31/10/07 Spanky Fox
1/1/08 No.6 Muzzy Izzet

i dont get the point of hiding your bets? unless we can see everyones bets??

As you may realise I won the last vBookie season. :icon_bigg :icon_wink On the last day I asked for a book to be reopened to cover myself in the case that my nearest rival had a bet. If I could disguise the fact that I had bet and so could the other person then it would have made for a very interesting last event. :icon_wink

Hiding your bets could be part of a winning strategy. :icon_wink
