I've always felt that Peter Taylor being allowed to spend over 20 million quid on players that were not good enough for the Premier League was the reason the club really went down the toilet. Maybe there is an argument that the gang of four would not have allowed this to happen, but who knows.

i was chatting with my brother the other day and we both agreed we haven't been the same since we conceded those two goals away at boro in injury time.
things are worse now of course, but i don't feel as devastated for some reason.

Even a month ago I didn't really think this would happen. IH's position is untenable IMO. Hopefully MM won't decide to piss off now the going is getting really tough.
