A few observations of todays game.
In the first half City should have had the game sown up . Williams was playing some great passing football. From the kop you heard "Craig Levein's blue & white army" .The fans clapped the players off at half time.
Second half, noticeable through lack of...
Ade badbuy had a hell of a lot of backing even when he was shite, which was most of the time.
Still not convinced about the slating of the others, some was mere banter. (Mark Bright excepted) compared to what is being dished out at the moment or maybe they were when I was all at sea.....;)
We went to Charlton with 4 - 5 -1, and it worked, but they are in the premiership.
Cl said the Reading team wasn't too different than the one we played against last year. Only difference is in the team confidence. What message does it send to our players, fans and their players and fans when...
Not sure i agree with your last statement about the slating HF. it seems to be more prevalent over the last few years to really chastise a player. Over the years we've had our fair share of donkeys, and there has been a good bit of banter, but I can't remember anyone taking stick like that...
"You've defended him for most of the time xsub, do i detect that even you are losing the faith ?"
Frustrated mate, I can't see how keep changing the team by as many players as he does is going to help things :102:
I think we'lll be drinking the TB Inn dry over the next few days. Maybe even stay pissed for the Canaries game........
Being a City fan I'm ever the optimist but..........
What is the answer? :102:
CL talks of a lack of confidence in the team. If the team is being chopped and changed every game (5 tonight!) how can the players build a rapport with each other and so gain that confidence in each other as well as their own play?:102:
I'll be going to the game on Satdy but I wont be protesting. However, I think the atmosphere will be tense to say the least. :icon_roll
If CL had to play 5 across the middle tonight I'd have preferred 3 at the back with 2 upfront But hey what do I know, I only coach under10s and they play 7 a...
The only way Nils will be playing is if he's been buttering up to CL. If he does play he'll have to be a bit more nimble on his feet. He's not completely sunblest with talent, is he!.
On Monday the Millwall keeper almost punched the ball in his own net from a corner. Normally a good time to make him feel welcome with cries of "dodgy keeper", but alas no. It seems City supporters (some!) are more intent on giving our own players shit than the opposition. WHY? :102:
