    Ollies comments

Ollie talks about too many right backs etc and no wide players, but surely he hasn't checked the situation correctly? I think we have several wide players: Newton, Mattock, Sheehan, Hayes, Djeziri, Ferreira, and possibly Kaebi. I'm not conviced that his comments are on the mark, or maybe he...

    Ollie is a top guy

Give him a chance to unearth more unknown talent. Whi had heard of Halmiosi until he turned up at Plymouth or the guy Buzasky, who went to QPR just before Ollie came to us. If he could find 2/3 players of this calibre and get rid of a few also rans we have a chance.

    dictatorship????

Mandaric insisted yesterday his decision was made in the best interests of the club and that it was one he made with the supporters in mind. "They are going to have to trust me," he said. "I have done it in their interests. "I have been criticised but I do what is best for the club. It is...

    worried

thanks for the advise!! What i say shouldn't be taken out of context, i am happier than ever that we have recruited so many, and that we have a better look and shape than for years, with a leader who has more drive and ambition than the previous incumbents put together, but you must agree...

    worried

I'm worried, all seems to have gone quiet, with no further squad editions, but worst of all no departures. We need a proven left back at this level, and we are still light of a creative midfielder. Being absolutely picky another striker wouldn't go amiss. However, we need to see the back...

    carl cort

This sounds promising :- The only new signings absent were Iranian international Hossein Kaebi, on Asian Cup duty, and striker Carl Cort, described by Allen as “not ready”, being behind in his pre-season preparations. Wonder how many times we will hear about Cort not being ready?

    Stephen Clemence/DJ Campbell double bid

why is this dragging in so long. Clemence will be quality for us and by all accounts from what Bruce is saying the deal is done. Get him in! Regarding DJ anything over a million would be a hell of a gamble.

    who will leave

maybe deals for some of the above particularly Kisnorbo is already done judging by the number of defenders we are linked too. Wouldn't be such a disaster if we had a complete new starting 11 next season to me!

    Martin Allen

I too wanted him when Levein went, but now i feel worried. I just hope he can attract quality players, and can play an attractive successful brand of football. I rememeber watching Brentford on there cup run when he was in charge, there was a lot of route one stuff. Ist signing could be D...

    Potential New Signings?

whoever we sign, it HAS to be quality. We should look at season loans like Birmingham and Sunderland did, even tie up unofficially with one of the top clubs such as Liverpool or Chelsea. B, ham did it with Arsenal and Sunderland with Man Utd this season.

    The McCarthy poll

Personally i would like to see all 3 of them playing even though i think McCarthy is reckless at times. Kisnorbo would be the centre of the three talking them through and remaining captain in my opinion
