Will do the full thread tomorrow, however just noticed the prices are up on the OS.

£30 for an adult ticket. They can **** right off :098:

Up almost 40% from last season.

Making up for the losses from The Sun offer :102:

Usually a ground where we take a lot to. Don't expect we will this time.

The price of a Real Madrid ticket to see frigging Barnsley. Perhaps Barnsley think that because the Club have plenty of money so do us fans. Perhaps if we all shout and complain like we did vs Doncaster last season they will put the price down just like Donny did.

I seem to remember that Donny had to reduce their ticket prices because they were charging less for a similar seat in the home end?

Barnsley are charging their fans exactly the same for all areas of the ground.

£16 when they play Watford on the 17th Sept

To be fair I believe we do this in the guise of the gold/platinum scheme.

£19.50 for 2 tickets with the sun deal. I spoke to the ticket office when I had collected the tokens, thy said Barnsley have only made 50 (fifty) pairs available in the away end. As the usual away ticket priorities apply, the people who the offer is aimed at will not get a chance.

The pricing makes the 'affordable football' campaign look a bit silly.

Make The Sun aware of the situation.

It's a joke and as someone pointed out it's only £16 for a game they play after ours against Watford

The Hornets visit South Yorkshire on Saturday 17th September for a 3pm kick off.

Designated a Category 'C' fixture, prices are as follows for all areas of the Stadium:

Adults: £16
OAPs: £11
Students: £11
U18s: £11
U12s: £5
We are a Category A game it would seem. Pity that Sheff Utd went down as we have probably taken their place along as an "A" with Leeds Forest Hull West Ham Boro
Category A
Adult: £30
OAP: £18
Student (18-20): £18
Juvenile (U18): £18

Student (18-20): £13

I expect we will be top category at a lot of grounds this year given we are one of the favourites for promotion.

Well I see Cliff is bigging himself up a bit but I do see what he means as some fans will pick and choose games and yes most will consider a potential cracking game at West Ham(put 4 past Florist) to be worth paying a bit more than for a wet and windy Saturday afternoon in South Yorkshire.

We usually take a good crowd to Barnsley, in the past some very good crowds, and this time Barnsley are going to shoot themselves in the foot by making the prices so high.

We usually take pretty much the entire stand at barnsley so as motown said they really have shot themselves in the foot. I did collect those sun tokens things but the wording makes it sound like you have to go to sodding barnsley to get them, no ta. not quite the fantastic deal it seemed methinks

Do you really think enough fans will boycott the game that the clubs will even notice?
