Capitals to Lower Case

If I type something in capital letters and wish to change it to lower case, is there a way I can do this without retyping it.

I have been forwarded a document to work on that is all in Caps and I need to change I to lower case.

Anybody know how to do it?

In Word you go to Format and Change Case is one of the options

Don't think you can do it directly but you can copy and paste the data to Word change the case there and then copy and paste it into excel.

In excel...

=LOWER () This will make all text lower case
=UPPER () This will make all text upper case

This one is clever

=PROPER () This makes every first letter in a word a capital!!
