Cheapest call charge PAYG SIM

Anyone know of a comparison site to choose the best value PAYG sim for using to phone home from abroad? Don't want to commit to a regular top up but simply want to load an amount before leaving the UK.

I know you can often buy 'local' sims abroad but would prefer to go ready armed.
