Went to day 4 & 5 (was free), great days. Im really pleased i had the luck of going to watch India win :biggrin: Everything was perfect, the weather, the cricket and the hotel we stayed at. England frustrated me on day four, some great batting from Vaughan, he single handedly (not literally) kept England in it and made it go to day five. Only one thing pissed me off; some of the England fans, booed the India appeals when it was not out, although on 1 of the about 3 or 4 of the appeals the batter edged it and it was caught, not going to complain now. England appealed more times in the 1st session then India in the whole of yesterday, everytime the appeal was rejected there were boos even if it was not out. Other then those, great atmosphere and the beer wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be.

Aye that superb reasoning to knockback a fast bowler who scored 50 against the same attack looks justified now.
Tremlett has bowled exceptionally well so far, the decision to put him in over Broad was the right one.

Tbh if your batsmen aren't scoring runs then you shouldnt expect your bowlers to get them out of trouble. We've only passed 300 runs once in 4 innings now which is quite poor. While our batsmen only have 2 hundreds and 4 50s between them.

Whilst the majority of fans just go and have a good time, there is always some that take it too far. Imo the fans at cricket matches are becoming increasingly volatile. I can honestly see crowd trouble if it continues in the current fashion, and it will be a sad day if they have to increase the police and ban alcohol from games.
That aside i hope you enjoyed it Jessel. I thought it was a real good test match, but losing the toss proved to be vital.
