I’ve got a feeling we might see him on the bench today.

I doubt it personally. I think they'd want to look at him in the development squad first.
We’ll see. I reckon he would have played last night otherwise (yes I know they only announced the signing this morning)

I do like the look of Diabate. Possibly because I wasn't expecting anything... in total honesty, less than anything.

He's rough around the edges maybe (and needs to learn to tackle :astonished:) but he's got the talents to bring on.

I like his work rate and willingness. He doesn't seem phased or over awed by the 'step up' to the Prem. As Puel said, he's ready.

Early days but it's been a promising start.

Yesterdays game looked like a good lesson for him. He was given much less time on the ball to think at this level compared to the Peterboro game and as a result lost the ball a fair bit. All in all you can tell he has good ability and I like his positivity on the ball. Could be a very good buy once hes settled in a bit more. Compare him with Gray who more often than not, cannot beat his man and just cuts back and plays the ball back...
