Free hosting?

Need a bit of webspace to redirect a URL to. Using Wix at the moment but they can be painfully slow loading at times.

Any recommendations?

Sorry, couple of HTML pages and a few pix. It's basically going to be a piss-take on a domain name I nabbed.

I've used these before, just as a sort of testing ground, I've always found them useful. Although, I seem to remember somebody mentioning some sort of problem with them on here before, can't remember what it was though

Of course, that was it.
I s'pose it all depends on what you need it for, they're handy for quickly throwing a site live to see what it look like, but no good for something that you need to be able to be confident in

If you don't need much web space or data transfer, this might do the job: http://www.daily.co.uk/products/web-hosting/free-web-hosting.html
If you have a .uk domain you can transfer it to them and get the hosting for free. Probably really only suitable for a site that's text only, any pictures will use the available disk space and date pretty quickly.

I have two servers with ovh.co.uk and they also offer free hosting accounts if you have a domain with them, but the page with all the details on has disappeared. I'll see if I can find more info about it.

You could of course avoid this problem by hosting the pictures elsewhere, somewhere like flickr, and changing the img code on your html pages to reflect his.
