Hanging when trying to post

hi Jeff,

When trying to post a response (with quote) this afternoon at about 2.09pm the site wouldn't allow me to and bought up a warning box:

Please wait xxxxx seconds before posting. FYI I hadn't posted anything anywhere else in order to be timed out.

This is in the Arsenal pre-match thread.

Just gone back in and it's there four times now.

Please delete three if possible Jeff.

Same thing has happened to me a few times recently.

I've just had a reply take a long time for it to post. If I'd given up waiting and clicked post reply again it would have probably brought up the message you saw. If you think something hasn't posted, the best thing to do is open up the site in a new tab and see if your post is there.

I don't know why some replies are taking so long at the moment. I'll investigate. Maybe switching the server off and on will fix it.

I restarted Apache and it seems to be OK now.
