I've used tables for ages in newsletters with no problems, but now, 1and1 have changed their newsletter tool and I'm finding that bits of text are missing from the edges of the cells.

Can somebody please suggest a more efficient (inline CSS?) way instead of what is below? Thanks.

<!-- start of 1and1 content -->

<table width="500" border="0" cellspacing="15" bgcolor="#ffffff" align="center">
<tr><td><p style="font-family: verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 10px; color: #000000; text-align: center;">Email not displaying? See in your browser at:<br> <a href="http://www.*****.co.uk/offers/september3013.html">http://www.*****.co.uk/offers/september3013.html</a></p></td></tr>
<tr><td><div align="center"><img src="http://www.*****.co.uk/pix/picture.png"></div></td></tr>
<tr><td valign="top"><p style="font-family: verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: #000099; text-align: left">
Hi, here are the details of our latest offer which is available in-store for one week only:</td></tr>
<tr><td valign="top"><div align="center"><img src="http://www.*****.co.uk/offers/300913.jpg"></div></td></tr>
<tr><td valign="top"><p style="font-family: verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: #000099; text-align: left">
For <b>ONE WEEK ONLY</b> we are offering <b><font color="#FF0000">10%</font></b> off the marked prices of all products. The discount also applies to products that we do not stock but that are available to order.</p></td></tr>
<tr><td valign="top"><p style="font-family: verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: #000099; text-align: left">
- This offer is ONLY available between Monday 30th September and Saturday 5th October.<br><br>- Please note that any special orders must be paid for in full before Saturday 5th October to qualify for the discount.</p></td></tr>
</table>

<!-- end of 1and1 content -->

Can I just get rid of all the table references and surround the rest with:

<div align="center">
<div style="margin: auto; height: 100%; background-color: white; width: 490">
CONTENT
</div></div>

Is there a way to include the 'center' attribute into the second div tab alone?

Ta!

overflow:visible;

1and1 provide a template "container" that you cannot change. The HTML I posted is then inserted into the "container". When I receive the test email I look at the source and 1and1 have used the 'overflow:hidden;' attribute in the bit that surrounds the container. I guess this is where the problem lies but as i can't change that I have to find a way around it.
