Got to go for this big time. We might get thoroughly dicked in the final but I'd love for us to at least get there.

I just hope our players want it and take it's importance on board.

Looking at Iheanacho goal tally (14) and his next 5 games being Saints, West Brom, Palace, Saints again, Newcastle. I can see him notching 20 goals dor the season at least. If youd have said that at the start of the season i would have laughed at you.

Paired with Vardy struggling to get anywhere near him.

And all of Nachos goals from open play but Vardy has probably less than 10 from open play.

Some players are getting a lot of stick at the moment but just think where we could be if Vardy had actually scored in his last 10+ games.

I also think we are badly missing Barnes at the moment too as without him or Maddison, we cannot create something in a flash either from a burst of pace or a sharp turn and excellent pass.

Youri can play a killer ball from deep but he is almost having to do everything at the moment and the poor bugger looks nackered.

How many times did he try to play in Vardy who completely failed to get onto anything?

Could be 5th by the time we play our next league fixture.

Might not be a bad thing, with a game in hand and easier games ahead.

I think part of our problem last season was that it was such a slow demise and, even though you could see it coming, we were still in the top 4 until the last minute.

Slipping out a bit earlier but having it still in our hands might help give some of the players a kick up the arse.

True. We're the only team that's been in the top 4 all season too.

We are missing Barnes more than we're missing Maddison IMO. We looked more balanced with Barners left and Maddison right. Our other formations look a bit cobbled together in comparison.
We don't have the squad depth of the big boys and it's showing.

I am assuming that they were saving themselves for our match this evening, as they were absolutely ****ing shite

Hassenhuttl said pretty much the same. In some ways not a good result for us but then again I wonder if he watched the game yesterday.

He's being kind. They were actually trying tonight but were clearly just shit. If we've got any sense we'll just play loads of passes between their central defenders. Unfortunately their central defenders won't be in our own 18 yard box so those passes won't happen.

They are shit but they have Danny Ings who is a pretty decent striker.

Southampton looked totally shit last night, Walcott hasn't scored in ages, and we're having our second late season collapse.

Everyone on this forum is quietly aware that we'll lose 2-0 and put up no fight whatsoever.
