apparently Maddison is a doubt still, if he isn't training tomorrow I wouldn't start him

Kasper

Ricardo Evans Soyuncu Chilwell

NDidi

Perez Tilelemans Praet Barnes

Vardy
I also wonder if Nacho did enough to get back on the bench for the league

Brighton walked through them last weekend, and should have comfortably won
However, I can’t see the Toon doing else but attempt to park the bus
If madders isn’t fit, bring in Youri’s mate, is the only change I’d make.

This will be a tough game Bruce will park the bus and frustrate, we need to shoot on site and pull their CD out towards our midfielders, then we can exploit the space in between them. I think this game should have Barnes and Albrighton out wide to whip it in early, if we gamble like we did against Spuds we will score a hat full, it is important the players get into the box early.

Without Madders I reckon a really frustrating 0-0

Is he definitely out then?

If so, I'd say play Perez in the Okazaki role and then 2 wingers.

I agree. I'd like to see Perez in the centre more (although I don't know how he got on up front the other day). My team, assuming Maddison isn't fit.

Chilwell

Choudhury

Vardy

Although suspect he may play Praet instead of Barnes/Albrighton, with a 4-3-3

Is that in a number ten role, number 8 role, or inside left

Please be more specific in future, or we'll think you're just making it up as you go along (and therefore not like the rest of us at all)

Newcastle to park the bus with a 4 5 1 formation, but Perez to save the day with a last minute overhead kick from the edge of the 6 yard box

MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head

Newcastle have won their last two league matches at Leicester, having been victorious in just two of the previous 10.
Since moving to the King Power Stadium at the start of the 2002-03 season, only four teams have won three consecutive away league games there, most recently West Brom between 2007 and 2014. Newcastle could become the first club to do so in the Premier League.
The last four Premier League meetings between Leicester and Newcastle have been won by the away side. Only four fixtures in the competition's history have seen five consecutive away victories - latterly Crystal Palace versus Liverpool (2015-2017).

Leicester City

Leicester have won 18 Premier League points from losing positions since the start of last season, a tally bettered only by Liverpool (19).
The Foxes have gained a joint-league high four points after trailing this season.
Leicester have conceded one goal in each of their last five league matches, having drawn their opening game with Wolves 0-0.
The Foxes have won just two of their last 18 Premier League matches on Sundays and have lost both of their previous Sunday games with Newcastle (in 1994 and 1997).

Newcastle United

Newcastle have won just one of their seven matches this season in all competitions.
Their four league goals this season have been scored by four different players.
The last time they scored multiple goals was in their final match under Rafael Benitez, a 4-0 win at Fulham in May.
The Magpies have won three of their last six away matches in the league, as many as they managed in their previous 24 (D9, L12).
Steve Bruce is without a victory in his last six games as a manager against Leicester since a 2-1 victory in the Championship with Birmingham City in April 2007.

Referee: Craig Pawson.

Assistants: Lee Betts, Ian Hussin.

Fourth official: David Coote.

VAR: Simon Hooper. Assistant VAR: Derek Eaton.

This for me. Maximum goal threat. Dont overcommit to central midfield. Ndidi breaking up play and Tielemans linking up play.
Get plenty into the box for Perez and Vardy.
