i read that trescothic checked in at the airport for the pre season tour, but then didn't get on the plane and went home. Recurrance of the problems he's been facing for a few years now. I doubt we'll see him in an england shirt again. But good luck to him and i hope he can get things sorted out.

I agree BB. Some say it is pressure, but I am unsure what pressure he will face playing a couple of meaningless friendlies in the Middle East, whilst topping up his tan?

One thing to note though, is that Trescothick is either our 4th or 5th highest rated batsman in teh ODI batsman ratings. Since he hasn't played for about 30 years, it shows that we are missing at the top of the order
