We narrowly missed out on promotion last season after bowing out of a game against the bottom team due to lack of players.

This season we currently sit 2nd after 3 games, joint with about 2 other teams and 3 points off top.

And it wasn't hard to find someone who could wear pompous white boots and run around in circles :icon_wink

My brother is 50/50 to make it back in time, so if don't make it, Nathan will roll in from his other game. If he does make it, I'll text Nathan that he not needed but no doubt we'll see him down there.

Won 6-4 tonight, though in truth could have been a few more, we missed a lot of good chances, but encouraging to win.

a good friendly team aswell, ran about a lot, I've not been this knackered in a long while.

Agreed. On the running bit for the first time in donkeys, I had a stitch. I thought I was fit enough for 5-a-side now tbh.

We're still second. 247 Staff won 7-1. Let's hope the lads we played this week could do us a favour cos give it time they will be a decent team. They beat Aimless last week.

We've got Hoodpark next week.
