What? Are we buying a striker from Forest Green?

32 goals in 49 games for Mansfield Town. Seems like a good buy for a league one club. We should be aiming for better than this.

I saw him play last week for Mansfield against Hyde. He scored the only goal of the game, while Mansfield were on top for the first 15 mins. After that he didn't do a great deal to be honest. I'd never heard of him til now and didn't realise who he was when I watched the game. It's only after looking into him that I realise who he is. I genuinely don't believe there can possibly have been anything in this story.

Please note, this is not a Yakubu-esque criticism, I fully understand the value of a forward scoring goals and am certainly not one who criticised Yakubu for 'lack of work rate'. This is more of a 'he didn't actually look that good' post.
