Anyone do this on a Saturday morning? I’ve just started going to my local one at Melton Country Park. I’ve got no excuse really, I live a 2 minute jog from the start line.

I’m no athlete but I absolutely love it. Personally I struggle a bit getting out and socialising, especially with new people. Everyone that goes just seems really nice, it’s a really great way to start the weekend.

Any North Leicestershire Parkruns to recommend?

Conkers Park Run out near Measham is a really good one

My eldest daughter goes to that one, along with a lot of people I know. We’re away for half term though, so not there at the min.

I don’t do the running, as my knees are wrecked from years of football, but I’m often there “supporting”.
