Premier League considering moving the 37th round of fixtures back, to allow some fans to attend, according to this.

Just don't get the point.

Start again next season

Unless they use the last game(s) and check everyone by testing at the ground and then later to ascertain transmit toon rates?

but other than that it seems more sensible to give it a couple more months dried to it?

I seem to remember Boris saying, "not before 17th May". There is plenty of scope for slippage between now and then. It would be far more sensible to say now that no spectators will be allowed into both Game 37 and Game 38. Fair for all but I expect greed will win out.

I think the last few months have proved that it really doesn't matter what anyone remembers Boris saying, since they u turn about 3 days later

I agree, but if there’s a chance for teams to get even one game’s worth of income, they’ll go for it.

If it's safe then it would allow for trophy presentations and for fans to say well done to teams that have done well.

The primary motivation may be money, but there is a lot of value in getting in at least one home game for lots for fans.

And what if the teams that have done well are away?

Just thinking that if we are able to return to a fairly normal situation in the summer, it would be good to hold a testimonial / goodbye match for Kingy.

We'll also probably be seeing Fuchs gone at the end of the season and Morgan will almost certainly retire. Feels like we should try and do something for 3 of the most influential players the club has ever had.

Covid permitting, it would be a great way to return to the KP.

20,000 fans to be allowed at the FA Cup final. (Maybe).

That should just about cover the corporate/sponsors ticket allocation.
