If Arsenal want Rodgers, he's gone. He's always traded up whenever he could and there is no question he'd see this move as a trade up.
Thankfully, those in charge of Arsenal are fecking idiots so they'll appoint someone worse.
Really? I really can't understand this attitude. He took a team that routinely failed to make the Champions League (they call Thursday 'Spursday' for a reason), was the third team in their city, and continue to spend very little on the playing staff while they built a new stadium.Really, why?
He's a loser who's won **** all
I would be amazed if he left for Arsenal. He would seriously risk his reputation and there would be an incredible amount of pressure on him to succeed with a squad that is very average. If Arsenal want Rodgers, he's gone. He's always traded up whenever he could and there is no question he'd see this move as a trade up.

Also BN, I think you might be underestimating what is happening at Leicester at the minute. We are on the verge of becoming one of the big clubs. Add the that the new training ground and the stadium expansion. If Arsenal want Rodgers, he's gone. He's always traded up whenever he could and there is no question he'd see this move as a trade up.

I disagree.Utterly ridiculous to believe that Rodgers would turn down Arsenal. They're not Spurs.
He'd be off like a rat up a drainpipe.
We knew what we were getting with Rodgers. He is a career manager. He wants to manage big clubs in this country and abroad. He is fiercely ambitious for himself.
He left Celtic for us as a career move. It was head over heart as is every other decision he makes. He will leave us the moment an opportunity comes along that he thinks is a step up.
We are just a stepping stone. It is delusional to think differently. The only sensible course of action is to enjoy him whilst he's here and have plans in place for a replacement because when he goes, it's likely to be pretty sudden.
Managers are recruited in private. If Arsenal want Rodgers, they'll approach him and the two parties will talk. Exactly like we did when he was Celtic manager. And if he fancies it - he will go. When he came to us, we were mid table and doing worse than Arsenal are now. He will believe that he can improve them substantially.
Arsenal's last published results show a turnover is over £400m a year and their wage bill is £240m. They have a brilliant 60k stadium. Leicester had a turnover of £160m and a wage bill of £120m. We have a rather average 32k stadium. In those terms, they can offer double what we can.
Short term, we have the better side. Medium to long term, there really is no competition. As is the case with Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea and Man City and several overseas roles. He'd jump for any of those opportunities.
We cannot complain when it happens either. That's the deal we made when we got him.
It is. I think the thing in our favour, at the moment, is the length of time he’s been here. A few months down the line and it may well be a very different scenario. That’s all about bang on.
