Not sure what was funnier. Captain Slow's headed miss or McTominay forgetting VAR exists and try to get Aunty Carol sent off.

Dissapointed Man City lost as this is just gifting the scousers (Tourists) the league.

I wonder how many media outlets will mention the rest of the league being absolute shit in the year they win it?

It really is a case with Man City of just not playing their game isn’t it? Easy to get pulled around following their 80% possession but if you keep the football simple and counterattacking as they start panicking, you can always hit them on the break.

We’ll take at least 3 points from them this season.

Also have to say that if us spanking Newcastle 5-0 then gives them the impetus to beat Man U, that makes it even sweeter.

NB - absolute wallop by Marty Longstaff. Great goal.

Keep Gollum in charge until about March, then call in Big Sam to save them from the drop!

I'd love it, really love it, if that happened :)

I'd prefer them to get relegated

What the flying feck was going on with Alli's equaliser for Spurs yesterday?

Surely that was handball? Surely it was an obvious one to disallow? Why is it being ignored?

Even the big screen disallowed it and yet the ref didn't?

Not to mention the blindingly obvious penalty for Watford being ignored following a review.

Talk about a helping hand for Totteringham.

Yep, total nonsense. Are officials required to explain themselves if they choose to disregard the video evidence?

First decision ****ing outrageously wrong. Second one possibly correct

The hopeless ref too shit scared to give either of them

What a complete shower football has become

Definite foul in the build up to Rashford's goal. VAR disagrees. It's a farce.
It was not a ‘’clear and obvious’’ error by the ref. Hence, VAR not overturning it. And Origi fell over as easy as a Mané for the slightest touch.

Good news for us but that's ****ing farcical for the Rashford goal.

Right decision for the Mane hand ball.

Very borderline re the Origi foul. He was kicked but it didn't merit the swan dive.

Personally, I found Liverpool getting a bit of their own medicine back today very pleasing.
