There's thunderbolts and lightning - It's very very frightening me...

We were going to go to the Kent Show yesterday but when the Radio Kent reporter at the Show used those very words at the start of his first broadcast, we decided not to bother.

A really spectacular storm settled in yesterday evening just to the west of us. The lightning lasted for hours and hours. This morning Canterbury residents are reporting that they had hailstones bigger than golf balls.
