The word legend is banded around far to easily but in this case it’s fully deserved

I'm young enough to have never seen Worthington play, but he's one of a handful from before my time that I wish I had seen play for us - alongside Weller, Banks and Lineker.

RIP

Great player to watch. Great memories of a proper centre forward. Had a beer with him in Baileys night club many years ago. RIP Frank.

I never saw him play but I know my dad will and my grandad would have shed a tear today.

He was before my time on Earth. The thing with players like this is that even though you may not have seen them play, it is ingrained in you so that you say their names without hesitation when asked if they would be in your all time team. Legend never flickers or dies. RIP Elvis.

I hope God has got two footballs: even He won't get near to Elvis. It was a privilege to watch him warm up, never mind play.
