I think he has addressed a good number of those initial concerns. Lets hope he continues to improve with us for a good few years.

My biggest concern still is whether he can deliver at the crunch time, and not bottle it at the important moments like last season. Either winning the FA Cup or finishing top 4 will show me that he can and will alleviate that concern.

If we crash out of the FA Cup today and then finish out of the top 4 after being in it all season, I’ll want him out.

So would I - to lose him would be bad enough but to Spurs would about as bad as could be!

I think we'll be OK on it though and Levy is known to be tight fisted like this. They'd have to pay a lot to get rid of Jose and then to pinch Bodgers from us would be equally, if not more costly. Combined with what is looking like a lack of CL football/money next year for them, I think they will go for a cheaper option overall.

Has Bielsa signed an extension yet? I'm hoping not and Spurs go for him as whilst I wouldn't swap him for Bodgers, he may have a slightly higher worldwide profile and draw for foreign players which would make him as appealing for them as Bodgers....... Hopefully!

That is hilarious. If we finish 5th and lose in the FA cup we are still punching way above our weight.

I disagree.

Financially, yes. But I must rate our players better than you do, because I would only swap it for two others in the league. We have the second best goalkeeper in the league. One of the best strikers in the league. Our centre back pairing is one of the best in the league. Ndidi and Tielemans would both get into any team in the world.

5th is not good enough for this squad.

I agree with you about the players you mention but our squad does not have enough depth. With the amount of injuries we've had this season we are doing remarkably well to be in 3rd place.

That's madness. A high win percentage is the best way of defining any managers success.

BR has 1.75 points per game from his 77 PL matches in charge - that's 66/67 points a season. There are only four sides in England where that isn't good enough. We're definitely not one of them.

I'd take that points total every season for the next few years happily. I won't ever cry that it's only good enough for 5th place.

Just one example why. The other three sides in the top four have bought five players off of us since 2016. We have directly strengthened our rivals again and again. Looking at our finances, there really hasn't been much choice. However, the fact that we've done this and we're still there competing with them is just extraordinary and we should be bowing down to the man that is delivering this to us. These are exceptional days to be Leicester fans.

BR is the best manager this club has had since? Gillies maybe?
