I have an SD card with a digital camera, but want to put music files on this card.

I can view the files on the camera if I plug it in (via USB), but can't find a way to actually view the card only, like you can with a memory stick or other external drive. I don't have a specialised cable that will read the SD card on its own.

Is there any method or program to enable me to manage the files on an SD card through the camera?

Why do you want music files on your camera? In what way are you trying to manage them? If you can view the files on the camera, you *are* actually viewing the files on the card - that is where they are.

I want the music files on the SD card so I can transfer them to my Wii!
I can view the files, but only in specialised software which are designed for pictures, therfore I cannot transfer music files.

If you connect your camera to your PC and select it in My Computer, you will see a folder called DCIM - this is the memory card. DCIM = Digital Camera Information Module (or something similar). You should be able to drag-and-drop files of any sort onto it, even if the camera can't read them.

Does this help? Is this what you want to do?

This is what I want to do, but when I click on the camera it just loads up a blank folder (with camera name at top), but wont allow me to paste any file of any format :(

Basically I cant find DCIM, maybe the camera is not up to date enough?

If you have a card reader try taking the SD card out of the camera and putting it into your comp as a card only.

Then you should get the DCIM file.
