My sister had Sky broadband 'installed' about 3-4 weeks ago. It's still not working. Sky blame BT, BT blame Sky.

Is it DSL or satellite broadband? If it's DSL then what is there to install, if it's satellite what can they blame BT for?

DSL.

I asked my sister why they sent someone to install it and she'd asked them the same question. The bloke who installed it said they send someone round to do it because it's easier than trying to fix the cockups people make when they try to install it themselves.

Will be the worst £20 you ever saved. Youd be better off with BT at £17.99 or whatever it is now.

I've got it and they were shite for the first 2-3 weeks but since then its been fine and i've not got any real complaints as its free.

2-3 months ago they were overwhelmed with enquiries and switches and MAC codes but its all settled down and even getting through to people is easy now.

Stopped bt when the home pc broke about a year ago. It's been work laptop recently and my dwarf porn needs replenishing....
