Has anyone had issues with sets if channels, ie all the sports channels dropping out and displaying 'no satellite signal received' message?? or the picture going blocky?? If so how did you solve it???

get this periodically with bad weather, some chanells signals will be weaker depending on where you are and they are thown out if your dish is rocking in the wind.

check the wall mount on the dish is tight, but you will still get problems i think

its a communal dish so I cant touch it, been waiting for an engineer all afternoon. Hopefully realigning it is the extent of the issue as its only started these last few weeks.

the bad winds lately might have loosened it enough to cause a problem, whats the waiting time for the engineer?

well sky wont touch communal systems so its the company who fitted the system, meant to have been here at 1pm, then 4pm now who knows as the office closed. Been assured he will turn up but god knows now :icon_evil

just called, he actually lives around the corner so is coming over after work tomorrow. Reckons its the distribution amp on first guess.

happens to us in really heavy rainstorms.
Have to turn the box off at the wall for 10 seconds then restarts perfectly in a couple of minutes.

This doesnt seem to be weather related, strange.
