Very Slow

Jeff,

Since last night I have had problems viewing the site. Each page takes on average 45 seconds to load. It is only a problem on this site, no others.

I had some success earlier by rebooting my router, but for some reason my electric went off and it's now very slow again. I have rebooted now 5 times and still no success.

Any help appreciated.

edit - It's the same problem for every computer in the house.

No problem here - even on my ancient machine, pages are displaying in the normal time.

It's definitely something to do with my account.

If I log out, it's working fine, if I log in using my other account, it's fine also.

I have found that for some time that when sending a post its very slow on transferring to the thread , after hitting the ' submit reply ' button.

I did. It says quite clearly that the support forum is for support issues only. At the top of the page it says "This is for support issues only, any other posts may be deleted".

I have banned people from this part of the site in the past when they have persisted in posting off-topic stuff in here.

There have been several off-topic posts deleted from this thread, not just yours.
