Who do you think ends up paying for the sponsorship?

The only way to avoid it is to boycott all the sponsors' products.

Sponsorship won't affect my spending in any way. If I fill up at a BP station it'll be because I need petrol. If I have a McDonalds it'll be because I want one.

And the sponsors go home, happy their work is done.

But I'm quite glad that the games are here, so that's a good thing.

I'm so glad they are not here (Leicester), London will be a disaster for most people who live and work there for the best part of a month, just hope the country wakes up after this and thinks never again for either the Olympics or Soccer World Cup.

Get with it Leese, soccerball is a much more advertiser friendly title

It's a diverse crowdon here some might think of odd shaped balls or cricket if I just say world cup

They are the Rugby World Cup or the Cricket World Cup. Everyone knows the World Cup is football. Proper football, with round balls.

Not only London but also much of south-east England. For instance train services right down to the coast are being cut and curtailed just so that they can run more trains between StPancras and Stratford.

I lit the pilot light on my heating this morning - seemed to pass off without incident. Should I left Seb Coe know?

I would strongly advise against letting him know. Legislation has been put in place to protect the official flame lighter sponsors and you are clearly in breach of this statute. You won't even have the chance to defend yourself in court, summary judgement under this legislation is a £10 000 fine and 5 years imprisonment. There is no appeals process.

Thank **** I didn't mention the brand of coffee I was drinking at the time or the fact that I'd bastardised an official 2012 cigarette.

Never mind who lights it. I would gladly extinguish it. Waste of ****ing money when we are being told to tighten are belts. Absolutely meaningless if you live outside London and the home counties.
