I agree, Morrison was a class act for us untill the Sousa arrived. Like many others!

I'm not sad to see Kermo go. He scored once in 20+ games, thats not a good return from a striker (yes mostly from the bench).

He did put the effort in so good luck to him but he will only ever be remembered for one thing in my eyes. Although the penalty didn't officially lose us the shootout ... it really did.

Honest player, confidence blown to bits by Sousa, but still not what I would consider quality.

Personally and I accept I may be in the minority, but i'd say the same for Weale. I thought he was decent enough in his first couple of seasons where he had no competition for his place. As soon as Sven bought in any competition he has become a bit of a wreck. If his confidence and temperament were better he would be a good keeper at this level. It also explains why he has had such an indifferent career up to now.

Let's face it, almost the entire squad who took us to within a penalty shoot out of Wembley have been severely rubbished on here. Only the sainted Kingy and Richie and to a lesser extent Gally have escaped, as has Tunch who sensibly spent almost the entire time in the treatment room. For me, the "dodgiest" of the lot, Wayne Brown is another who played out of his skin for much of that season - but thank christ we got rid of him.

For me, SGE has more than a touch of the cuckoo about him, shoving those who aren't his own out of the nest. Hope I'm proved wrong and those four along with Abe show their best form (i.e. as damn good players) are in the mix come the promotion party next April.
