Their ground holds just over 76,000, and we've been given a full and final allocation of 2,468. How's that work then .... :102:

The Premier League rules say:

Unless otherwise agreed by the Board or between the Clubs, and subject to Rule R.9, each
Home Club shall make available to its Visiting Club:
R.8.1. 3,000 tickets or, if the capacity of the Home Club’s Stadium is less than 30,000,
such number of tickets as is equal to 10 per cent. of its Stadium capacity; and,
whether or not that allocation is taken up;
R.8.2. tickets for a minimum of 10 per cent. of the Home Club’s disabled spectator
accommodation

So we should get 3,000 tickets. Some clubs get away with giving smaller allocation because of problems with segregation. But Manchester United have given 3,000 to other visiting clubs this season, so I see no reason why we shouldn't have the full allocation. Have we not asked for the full amount, or are Man U breaking the rules?

It'd be very odd if we actually asked for such a small number.

No, it's not. We did it constantly the last time we were in the Premier League.

We got an extra 600 tickets in the end, although these were on sale at almost £10 more than the others. They sold out though. Weird how all of a sudden we have supporters with enough points to buy them all up so quickly.

Oh the tales I could tell.

One of my brother-in-laws has got a ST this year for the first time in ages. He has also managed to secure tickets for every away game so far.

It's always been more about who you know rather than what you know.

120 points for P1, season ticket last season and this and 20 away games in three and a half seasons. P2 is just 10 away games.
Pretty easy to do especially after success last season. I thought they would have upped the P1 level by now.

of course there will be the tickets given to friends etc. a mate of mine has got 3 for Arsenal from someone within the club.

I've been able (if I wanted to) buy away tickets to every game this season, bar this one. I didn't particularly want to go, but it just surprised me that the tickets had sold out quite a bit in advance of when my turn would have been, even more so given the extra tickets we got were £55. The club has a long standing reputation for operating a poorly run ticket office, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised by it all.

Has any one got 2 tickets for this match, will to pay a good price to secure them?

It's illegal to resell football tickets unless you're an official reseller. We allow fans to trade tickets here, but only at face value.

Some tickets are available from Manchester United's official reseller. Not in the away end though, assuming you're a Leicester fan.
