I can't say I'm that bothered, particularly after being in the CL this season. Maybe if I wasn't so spoilt with this season I'd think differently.
 
I would give Maguire a miss. Ben Gibson is where the better potential lies. Middlesboro actually have a fairly decent defensive record this year despite getting relegated and that tells it's own story. Signing Maguire would be like repeating the mistakes of last summer. Trying to look for diamonds in all the wrong places.
 
this probably won't be a popular opinion but if the rumours of Newcastle wanting Wes are true I would let him go, I think if Huth and morgan are still the first choice next season we would be in trouble and personally I would only keep one of the at the club to compete with Benny, Amartey a new signing (or 2) and someone like Elliot Moore for a place

I'd take Wes over Benny every day of the week.

The story is nonsense anyway. It's just his agent doing his annual 'get Wes a contract extension' shenanigans.

At the moment I would agree. Looking to the future however, perhaps not.

Gibson would be a much better target for us I feel but I don't think Maguire would be a bad signing from what I have seen of him this season.

Strange, the only offer of a contract should be on reduced terms, same as the rest of them.
