Yes, can you imagine the dressing room! Oh boy, could Mahrez be in for some stick! As long as he takes it in good humour and responds on the pitch then I really think we call it quits.

Mahrez is shit at penalties.

I don't think that dressing room banter is the main issue.

The issue is that Mahrez has damaged his transfer value by his poor performances in the PL last season. In a vastly inflated transfer market none of the top clubs in Europe wanted to pay £50m. That is fact.

The conjecture is that Mahrez and his people wanted him to go on the cheap and to all appearances he is desperate to leave Leicester City.

Hopefully, LCFC can do something right this time. Mahrez needs to be told that the club too wants him out in January but at their price. If he doesn't play at the top of his game then he needs to be dropped - not like last season..... and let events take their course.

I wasn't suggesting it was. I'm just saying that he could well take some flack!

Yes, he's maybe tarnished his reputation somewhat, in some people's eyes. And conjecture is simply that, conjecture. People can be short sighted, such things blow over. Mahrez has plenty of time to show his worth on the pitch and restore both his reputation (where needed) and his market value. Point is, I don't think the club need do anything. It's all up to Mahrez as it's in his own interests to get his head down.

You may be right - but on the other hand, Mahrez has probably acquired a reputation as a bit of a loose cannon/ prone to follow bad advice. Doubt if other clubs are too keen on this.

At the same time Leicester have a bit a record as being controlled by a group of players. Some of whom only appear to play to their best ability when they feel like it. I think the next couple of months may test out a few issues including the strength of the club and its manager.
