Why? You don’t know for sure he’s gone AWOL. You have no proof apart from every single news outlet in the country.
The club could have just given him a couple of weeks paid time off seeing as he’s the victim in all of this.

We have plenty to choose from for the bench with most positions well covered.
The transfer window has done little harm, apart from the possible Mahrez repercussions.

I’d start Simpson, Fuchs, Silva, Diabate, Ihenacho in place of Amartey, Fuchs, James, Gray, Okazaki.
The Matty James experiment has to end. He’s a tidy player but just not good enough to influence games at this level. Silva’s had a month to get match for and it’s time for him to start. If not him then Iborra. Both offer so much more than James.
